Kudzu is excited to announce that we are partnering with LIFELINE ANIMAL PROJECT, a non-profit organization that has taken on the challenging task of developing Dekalb and Fulton County animal shelters into no-kill shelters. In addition to evolving both of these county shelters into humane and well-run animal care facilities, LifeLine also provides low-cost vet treatments, neutering services, and other animal rescue and aid efforts. In 2014, LifeLine cared for 15,559 homeless animals and has increased adoption rates by 98 percent since commencing management of the county shelters. Their work is badly needed, and Kudzu is taking this opportunity to help them reach their goal to make Atlanta a no-kill community for Dekalb and Fulton County shelter pets by the end of 2016.
To further these efforts, OCTOBER 19TH-NOVEMBER 14TH our wonderful dealers are donating 100% of the proceeds to LifeLine of specially orange tagged items throughout the shop. Then join us for the weekend of OCTOBER 24-25, when Kudzu will donate a portion of all sales to LifeLine and will host a FREE ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25 from 11:30am-3:30pm. As part of LifeLine’s October special, the no-fee adoptions at this event are a $250 value!
